The TPR6040 is a shunt voltage reference with guaranteed temperature stability over the entire operating temperature range. The temperature range is extended from −40 °C to +125 °C. The TPR6040 operates with a wide current range from 0.15 to 15 mA with a typical dynamic impedance of 0.3 Ω.

High Voltage LDO
The TPL8020U50 product is a wide input range and low quiescent current low dropout linear voltage regulator. The device supports an input voltage of 6 V to 24 V and provides maximum 200-mA output current. It is stable with a minimum 2.2-μF ceramic capacitor. The TPL8020U50 features a high PSRR with 56 dB at 10 kHz, which can significantly reduce the voltage ripple generated from the previous power stage. The TPL8020U50 implements a low quiescent current with only 4.2-µA, which makes the TPL8020U50 a good choice for the battery-powered portable devices. Short to ground protection, over-current protection, and over-temperature protection can ensure the system reliability under different server conditions. The TPL8020U50 is a 5-V fixed output LDO with ±2% accuracy over full operating conditions. The device provides a SOT23-5 package with guaranteed operating temperature range from −40°C to +125°C.

This feature makes the TPL5031 series very suitable for power-ripple-sensitive applications with high noise from the previous stage power supply, such as high-performance analog devices, or high-definition imaging equipment. The device is designed to be used in CAN FD networks up to 5 Mbps, and to enhance timing margin and higher data rates in long and high-loading networks. As designed, the device features cross-wire, overvoltage, and loss of ground protection from -42 V to +42 V, overtemperature shutdown, and a -30 V to +30 V common-mode range. The TPT1256 has a secondary power supply input for I/O level shifting the input pin thresholds and RXD output level. The device comes with a silent mode which is also commonly referred to as listen-only mode, and it includes many protection features to enhance device and network robustness. The TPT125x is available in SOP-8 and DFN3X3-8L packages and characterized from –40°C to +125°C.

The TPT1029Q is a local interconnect network (LIN) physical layer transceiver that is compliant with the ISO 17987-4, SAE J2602 and LIN 2.0, LIN 2.1, LIN 2.2, and LIN 2.2-A physical layer standard. LIN is a low-speed universal asynchronous receiver transmitter (UART) communication protocol that supports automotive in-vehicle sub-networks. The device supports LIN networks up to 20 Kbps with an enhanced timing margin. The device converts the transmitted data received at the TXD with the optimized slew rate to minimize the electro-magnetic emission (EME) and reports the state of the LIN bus at the RXD. As designed, the device features overvoltage and loss of ground protection from −45 V to +45 V, overtemperature shutdown. The device has low-current standby and sleep mode with LIN BUS wake-up capability. The device integrates a pull-high resistor for LIN slave applications and ESD protection which allows applications to operate with a reduced dependence on external components. Additionally, all devices include many protection features to enhance the device and network robustness. The TPT1029Q is available in SOP8 and DFN3X3-8 packages and is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.

The TPT3232E devices are IEC61000 ESD protected, 3.0-V to 5.5-V powered transceivers that meet the RS-232 standards for balanced communication. Each receiver converts TIA/RS-232 inputs to TTL/CMOS levels. The devices have a typical threshold of 1.25 V, a typical hysteresis of 0.3 V, and accept ±15-V inputs. The devices operate at data signaling rates up to 250 kbps. The TPT3232E devices are available in SOP16, SSOP16, and TSSOP16 packages, and are characterized from –40°C to 125°C.

Transmitters in this family deliver exceptional differential output voltages into the RS-485 required 54Ω load. The devices have very low bus currents so they present a true “1/8 unit load” to the RS-485 bus. This allows up to 256 transceivers on the network without using repeaters. Receiver (Rx) inputs feature a “Full Fail-Safe” design, which ensures a logic high Rx output if Rx inputs are floating, shorted, or on a terminated but undriven bus. The TPT480 and TPT482 is designed for full-duplex RS485, and support SOP8, DFN3X3-8, MSOP10 and SOP14 package, which is characterized from –40°C to 125°C.
